“Little Numbers” by BOY from the album Mutual Friends:
I just got around to hearing the latest Camera Obscura album Desire Lines, and I didn’t really connect with any of the songs…except “Break It To You Gently.”
“Break It To You Gently” is sonically upbeat and similar to a song like “Lloyd, I’m Ready To Be Heartbroken.” It’s really Camera Obscura at its best. And the second verse is even better than the first — how many songs can claim that distinction?

I’m not too familiar with their other music but “Come A Little Closer” is really impressive — it starts off with subdued, slightly distorted vocals and a driving drum beat and explodes into the chorus before going back to the more restrained verses:
